Ramgarhia 1 – Harrow 0

Ramgarhia played newly promoted Harrow at home.
Ramgarhia scored the first goal after a goal mouth scramble, where the Harrow keeper stopped a succession of shots, but Bahadar latched onto the end of a rebound and slotted the ball away from a couple of yards out.

Ramgarhia dominated the rest of the first half creating numerous chances and a huge number of short corners. However, Parmi was still completing research for his PhD on the number of ways to not score from a short corner, and Ramgarhia were unable to add to their tally before half time.

Harrow looked to attack more in the second half. A Harrow counter attack down the right hand side saw a cross being pulled back for the Harrow centre forward who had all the time in the world to pick his spot before shooting. Unfortunately, the spot he picked was on Makhi’s head, and Makhi had to be assisted off the field.

The game became wide open, with chances being created at both ends, before a Ramgarhia counter attack ended with Bahadar slipping the ball past the keeper.

The boys would like to thank the second team and all the other supporters, including the legendary Ranbir Girn, for coming to give their support.
